  1. Hy there,
Could someone guide me how to convert some subtitles into xml format? I need to use xml format for Captions for a web flash player.
My subtitles are in .ass format and i can't find any solution to convert them to .xml to be comptatible with the video player.
I have tried a lot of solutions to convert them to xml format but the subtitles won't show on the player.

Solution is simple: Write your own code... Or read direct subtitle file.

  5. yes that is fine and tandy, but how i am going to edit xml file for a 1000 rows subtitle ? and i need to do this every week.
it will take a lot of time.
i will need to edit the duration of the subtitle, timestamps and so on...

  7. I'm not quite sure if this is what you're seeking but Subtitle Edit allows you to export your subtitles to BDN xml/png format

In Subtitle Edit you can save a subtitle in 150+ formats including many different xml formats - which xml format do you need exactly for your web flash player? "Timed Text" is a good guess...

  14. And I'm still rather clueless.

But perhaps you could simply hardcode the subtitles?
