I've started to rip my entire BluRay collection as I've got my hands on a Oppo BDP-103EU capable of playing back all those lovely MKV's containing remuxed VC-1 / AVC / H.264 videos and DTS:HD MA, Dolby TrueHD and FLAC audio tracks.
I've gone through quite a lot of titles already:
- Lord of the Rings Special Extended BluRay Collection, included all special features (mostly DVDs using MakeMKV)
- The Matrix BluRay Collection
- The Hobbit an Unexpected Journey
- Indiana Jones BluRay Collection
- Skyfall
- Kung Fu Panda
- X-Men BluRay Collection
- Harry Potter BluRay Collection
But there is much more to be done with... I'm using BDInfo to determine with playlist (mpls) file to add into tsMuxeR GUI, I then demux the the main video, the main audio (DTS:HD MA / Dolby TrueHD) and the English subtitle, and the Norwegian one if it's available. The I use Eac3to and More GUI to make a perfect FLAC copy of the DTS:HD MA / Dolby TrueHD track and then I mux the files (video + dts:hd ma / truehd + flac + subtitle) into MKV using mkvmerge GUI.
This has worked perfectly thus far, but after using AnyDVD HD for ripping Ice Age 4: Continental Drift I'm facing a problem whereas tsMuxeR is unable to demux the correct mpls file. According to BDInfo I'm supposed to select 00800.mpls, or about ten other alternatives including the main video but no matter which I chose tsMuxeR gives me the following:
SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.10.6 http://www.smlabs.net
Decoding H264 stream (track 1): Profile: High@4.1 Resolution: 1920:1080p Frame rate: 23.976
H.264 stream does not contain fps field. Muxing fps=23.976
Can't create output file F:\Videos\Ice Age\Ice Age 4 - Continental Drift\00941+00505+00506+00507+00508+00509+00511+00 512+00513+00514+00515+00516+00517+00518+00519+0052 0+00522+00523+00524+00525+00526+00527+00528+00529+ 00530+00531+00532+00533+00534+00535+00536+00537+00 538+00539+00540+00541+00911+00546.track_4113.264
How am I supposed to get around this?

You didn't say so explicitly, but it seems you're ripping to hard drive first. I don't have that movie, but since it's a very popular Blu-Ray, I'm guessing it had advanced copy protection, and it may be that the structure of your rip is faulty as a result. But I think the following is more likely:
From the log info you posted, it's apparent that the main movie titleset is spanned over multiple m2ts files. That can be a problem for tsMuxer, particularly if there are any sync byte discontinuities in the audio after joining the m2ts files.
I suggest you dispense with ripping to hard drive first. Try running AnyDVDHD in the background and extract main movie direct from disc using Clown_BD, which will identify the longest titlesets without needing BDinfo. (You can select from the list of titlesets identified, longest one listed first). If there are any discontinuities in the audio, the log will tell you. Clown_BD will attempt to fix any problems, and may require one or even two more passes.
That method has worked for me when tsMuxer fails. Good luck.Pull! Bang! Darn! -
To add to what fritzi93 said...... you could also try HD-DVD/Blu-Ray Stream Extractor if all else fails using Clown_BD.

Hi Friend,
I try to use Tsmuxing to rip a BR to my hard drive, as I used to do (I progressively digitalize all my DVD/BD disks).
I have a pb with a particular BD (that I have regularly bought...) which is Harry Potter, and it should have a stronger copy protection than usual because I get the following error message:
SmartLabs tsMuxeR. Version 1.10.6 http://www.smlabs.net Decoding H264 stream (track 1): Profile: High@4.1 Resolution: 1920:1080p Frame rate: 23.976
H.264 stream does not contain fps field. Muxing fps=23.976
I have not yet tried with ClownBD, but do you have any suggestion ?
Thanks -
