    Hello
I need to edit videos in the SolveigMM Video Splitter since this is the only tool I know that let you use a storyboard to find specific spots where people are singing in television singing shows. The files I have are in the MKV format and I think this editing tool is the only one that will do what I want. I have a copy of this SolveigMM Video Splitter and have been re-is installing it several times and looking at all the options but whatever I do there is no sound I mean I can do a visual edit but not edit which sound. There is no sound no matter what I do. So how do I fix this?

The particular audio track I'm interested in listing to is an AC-3, but that doesn't seem to matter if I try to open up a video with a MP3 track it doesn't play it as well. It doesn't play any audio tracks regardless of what type of video I opened up. And all other players including the VLC player play all audio. It seems to be some way this SolveigMM Video Splitter is connecting to my computer's audio, but I do not know about how that works in computers. Like I said I reinstalled it several times and I can't seem to find any options to turn on the sound except the no sound option and clicking on that does not toggle the sound on. When I edit a video with the SolveigMM Video Splitter completely visually the resulting edit has sound when played on all other video players on my computer. It's just this SolveigMM Video Splitter where I cannot get sound. Hope someone here can Help.

I tried installing FFDShow suggested above and it did not make any difference.

SolveigMM Video Splitte is still not playing the audio no matter what kind of video with audio I open up. I did not mention it but prior to it not working it worked without installing any additional filters or codecs. It worked just as I got it from the download and now it doesn't it still at its videos but you cannot hear any sound while you're doing it and the sound still is there in the final output. But I am trying to edit singing I will like to keep from singing contests on television so I must have the sound.

Any additional ideas to try would be greatly appreciated.
