Nero Repair Agent

Hi all,

firstly, i think i'm in the right forum, if not apologies.

i've just used Nero Rescue Agent to kind of recover a damaged dvd, when it completed, i checked the video TS folder and was pleasantly surprised to find it had recovered all the files - then i went to play one of the video files.....

the sound is perfect, however it has "squashed" the video file to nothing more than a thin line in the center of the screen, it appears to play perfectly well, just that the picture doesn't stretch to the screen.

any ideas?

It plays in VLC Media player. The first few seconds are black though.

You could try fix it with videoredo using the quick stream fix.

Are you sure the IFO doesn't override the DAR of the VOB?
