  1. 1/ I downloaded Avanti 0.7.3 and unzipped it in the "Program Files (x86)" folder.

    2/ Then I added ffmpeg.exe, ffplay.exe and ffproble 32 bits static version 1.1.3 (march 2013) into the "Avanti-GUI-073" folder

3/ When I start Avanti-GUI.exe, none of the button on the GUI respond I have at the bottom a message "system startup failed".

    Thanks for your help.

Try creating a folder outside any of the Program Files folders (for example, C:\Avanti) and install Avanti there. Alternately, if Win7 still has the Run As Administrator option, try running Avanti with that. (It'll be easier to just use the first method, though.)

Edit: Doesn't Avanti require ffmpeg.exe, ffplay. etc. be installed to the main Avanti folder?
Edit #2: I'll admit, I haven't used it in quite some time. On my setup, the ffmpeg binaries are stored in an 'ffmpeg' subfolder within the Avanti folder. It does look like Win7 and 8 users are having difficulty getting Avanti to work on their systems, though. You might try a few alternatives, like WinFF, or the portable version of XMedia Recode, among others.

Well done! It can happen . I will add some more instructions to the readme file in the next version.

Avanti doesn't need "ffprobe.exe". Saves you about 20mb of disk space.

If you have other issues or comments you can post them here ...
