    it would help if you filled out the computer specs of the editing machine in your profile. also use mediainfo in text mode and copy/paste the results here of the videos.

    both arent able to be effectively loaded and edited into premiere 5.5,

  4. No idea why , I use large files in premiere frequently, including lagarith sometimes . UT works well, but it seems you have the same problems with it ?

    But look at the discrepancy in the audio time for the 1st file, maybe it's corrupted or causing premiere confusion

    Video
    Duration : 57mn 10s

    Audio
    Duration : 14mn 17s
    Stream size : 36.1 MiB (0%) <= 0%WTF ?
    But that doesn't explain the 2nd file (looks like no audio)

  5. that recording was anomalous , im not recording in audio

    so they are both loading in now.. i create a sequence from the clip, edit up a small section of it

    then when going to export, i set it to match sequence settings, and it tightens up the dimensions so that is not full screen anymore and the speed is out of sync, so its like double or something.
