  1. Hi, I am in need for the manual for Archer Model No. 15-1270 Video Enhancer/Stabilizer. I fried the power supply (connecting it to the italian net of 220V) and now I have to replace it but need to know at what tension the circuit works. Can anybody help me with the manual or circuit scheme or just the information I need to know about circuit working voltage of that Archer model.
    thank you

Don't know if this will help, but there's a detailed parts list here: http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc20/20998.htm
The list is from documents on this page: http://support.radioshack.com/productinfo/DocumentResults.asp?sku_id=15-1270&Name=Vide...sories&Reuse=N

Some pics and a useless video (no parts), plus some user comments: http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/video-restore/3051-archer-video-enhancer.html--no technical info, and you have to be a paid forum member to see the pics. They are just pictures of the exterior and some pages nfom user manual, no schematics, so no great loss. Pages of the user manual are in the link above.

Looks like a 5 volt linear power supply based on the parts list. If you can wait I will try to look for mine and take a look at the power supply.

  5. It seems to be 15 V. I checked the scheme.

Could you send me the schematic? It could help if I have problems with mine.

After looking at the schematic it looks like a 10 Volt power supply. The zener diode on the common terminal tricks the regulator into outputting a higher voltage. The output of the transformer is 15 Volts ac, the bridge rectifier drops it to about 12-14 Volts DC and the regulator outputs 10 volts. I see what looks like two output rails though. One is unregulated from the bridge rectifier and the other is the 10 volt regulated output. I would try a commercially available power supply module rather then try to repair the power supply.
