Just noticed that if I create a motion menu if i use a video file for background which includes audio the playback of the menu audio is sped up like 4X.. the video file used is an mp4. Sound works fine if i play the mp4 without the menu. My workaround was strip the audio from the mp4 and save it as mp3 and then include that into the menu wizard without background audio checked in the wizard. If i do this, the motion menu plays audio fine.

Is this a bug or something?

  2. Could you upload the mp4 file anywhere (mediafire, sendfile, etc.) to replicate the issue?

  4. The source mkv seems quite "normal" both the video and audio streams. W/o a sample it is hard to replicate the issue and understand what's going on.

If you load the mkv directly in AVStoDVD and select 'Codecs'/'Build DirectShow Filters graph', what is the resulting filters graph? Report here the image.

  6. There is a redundancy in the audio decoding path.

Download Win7DSFilterTweaker, install it, select ffdshow as audio AAC preferred direcshow decoder.
