  1. Hi guys

My DVD/USB player only supports files that I convert from whatever file type they are to AVI MPEG4 using Total Video Converter. No other AVI codecs work. Unfortunately, I can no longer use this program, since it simply refuses to progress the conversions I attempt nowadays. I have no idea why this is...

Any other conversion programs you can choose the AVI codec you prefer, particularly MPEG4?

    Kind regards,

    JvZ

  4. I agree about the programas mentioned before, but for a quick and simple conversion to MPEG 4 (xvid) that will play easily in most USB/DVD players I use Freemake Video Converter (If you decide to try it, make sure to uncheck the tool bars or other apps it suggests while installing)

Or xvid4psp 5 and use the avi hardware profile.

Or video to video converter, xmedia recode, winff. Try use avi with xvid.

MediaCoder might be worth a look too.
