Hello and thanks for the welcome to this forum.
I am still using a Panasonic DMR-HS2. It has been a reliable machine for me these past 11 years and it beats paying for a DVR service through Comcast.
I am attempting to record a certain daily program (Who Wants to Be a Millionaire) on a local broadcast station. Just this week, the recording has gotten interrupted, with the machine stating that "Recording could not be completed."
I've noted that 10-15 seconds of the 1/2 hour program get recorded and pieced together to total about 3 minutes over the entire half hour. This has only started this week, and I have no idea what would have changed about either the broadcast signal or the machine to cause this.
Today I tried recording the half hour of local news prior to this program. The news recorded fine, but then the same problem occurred with the other program. Tomorrow, I will try recording starting a few minutes into the program.
Sadly, I have to work during this recording, otherwise I would like to watch what happens myself.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it? I am recording directly onto the HDD.
Thanks!
