    Hi All,

So I made a short video for a work project but when i got it home the audio was "shite"! I demuxed the mp4 file with TSmuxer and fixed the audio up but now when I try to join the h.264 file and wav in TSmuxer I can only remux as m2ts or ts file and both seem to work except the video is frozen..

What method would you suggest to join h.264 and wav files back together as .mp4?

    Thanks

  2. Convert the WAV. It's not a 'standard' format for MP4. Neither is AC3 but you will get away with it.

If you don't need multi-channel sound use MP3 at 320Kbps.
It's CD quality (depending on the audio of the input file).

Actually AC3 is valid for MP4. It has been for a few years now. At one time it wasn't valid, but "the powers that be" changed the spec to allow it. The problem is that nobody seems to validate support for the spec and the news was badly publicized about the change and people still don't know it ever got changed, so either or both of those reasons are why some devices and software barf on AC3 in MP4 containers even though it's allowed now.

  4. Yes, but its only valid if what the OP plays it in can accept it.
Better to be safe than sorry, especially in front of the boss...or make two versions.
