I would like to render a project from Sony Vegas PRO 12.0. I would like to set the output file to have the preferences that you can read in the text file I attached, it is a Mediainfo export. How could I set these things? When I click Render, I get a list of output formats, but the list is totally a mess for me. When I clcik something, the customization panel doesn't allow to set any kind of option, only a select few. Not like in Xilisoft Video converter, where in the Advanced tab you can just add almost any value to a setting. In Vegas I am unable to find how I could have a baseline mp4 59.94p Full HD 25 mbps CBR. Every format I choose disallow setting one of these options. Which format shall I choose?

  2. You cannot have baseline set with full HD video 25Mbit, you have to set High@L4.2, this is specs. Better to say you set high and 59.940 fps and Vegas (Mainconcept or Sony) will set level 4.2.

Presets in Vegas are mere suggestions, you can customize them, save them, you take Sony encoder, pick any Memory Stick preset, set avc (this is important, you have to start with it) in Custom (instead of memory Stick), now you can choose High, then you change fps , bitrate .... or you pick Blu-Ray stream and again, choose avc instead of Blu Ray- avc, etc...

or you choose MainConcept, some preset and you can change the whole thing ....for example, if you choose Internet profile and modify it, and it gives you trouble, you choose Blu-ray stream and modify it to your needs, sure you can mux your video and audio outside of Vegas (mp4boxgui, mkvmerge), just pick what is going to work (to modify internet preset was giving me some trouble during playback, but not sure if this is one of those Vegas encoder quirks)

sure those encoders have limited settings, nothing fancy
