Dear receiver,
I am trying to convert clips that are m2v1 files into PC friendly files and I cannot loose any quality of the originals that is 1920X1020.
During the last few days I have downloaded this and that and what not and the latest efford was to download a programme called "Any video converter". I just cannot find out how to make files that are't lossy with that either. I'd have to be able to play them afterwards with other programmes and my editing software as well.. Maybe even Any Video converter is wrong for that purpose?
I would appreciate it very much if someone was able to help!![]()
With thankful greetings,
Johanna

And if you want to keep them as MPEG2-encoded video files in an MPEG2 container, just mux (multiplex) them with Imago (though it will probably want an audio stream to go with it - use mp2 or ac3).
However you remux, you will not lose ANY quality.
BTW, where did you get the "m2v1" label from? On a PC, most elementary MPEG2 video streams are just labeled: *.m2v (notice the lack of the "1").
