Hello Everyone im having overheating issues with my computer when rendering, i have core temp witch shows my tempture of my cpu and my computer will shut down at the 85-90 range witch is normal but now just reasently sony vegas just shuts down my computer i used to be able to render a 10 min video in like 15-20 mins but now i have to turn off gpu accelleration so my computer wont shut down now it takes like 40-50 mins witch bothers me so any tips on helping my computer not crash.

    Computer Specs:

    AMD FX-6200 Six Core Processor Socket AM3+ 3.8GHZ 8MB L3 Cache 125W
    Corsair XMS3 CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-27 240PIN Core i5 i7 AMD Memory Kit

    open it up and clean your hsf? they clog up with dust over time. if it's overclocked you might want to dial it back. or buy a better hsf, water cooling might help.

    i think his pc was overheating when it was under heavy load, such as when he was using vegas for a gpu accelerated encoding job. once it overheated it sounds like it would shut down and after he cleaned it, it would no longer overheat and thus doesn't shut down.

    you guys are going to have to excuse him, he's from canada.

    I Cleened the cpu and now its tempature is not as high and it does not turn off the comnputer
