Video editing for soccer games

I am looking for video editing software that I can editing soccer games. I mean highlight player that way that the highlight follow the player and so on. I would like to put marker (example red circle on the field) that it is stand where I putted it even though camera moves.

Is there good editing software where this things could do fairly easy (i know relative terms).

Wouldn't that actually be motion tracking instead of layers? He wants a red circle to stay stationary on the field while he pans the camera. But you are right, bud. Even motion tracking takes some time to learn how to get it right.
