I currently use SmartRipper / DVD2AVI / TMPGenc to rip, but have seen a few people talking about DVDit, Have managed to download it but was just wondering what this software does!
Can anyone tell me which if any should this software replace in the ripping process and any instructions would be helpfull.

DVDit PE is medium to high-end DVD authoring software. It allows you to do MPEG compression, set up menus, chapters, audio tracks, etc. It is not used for ripping.
