Hi, I need some help lowering the allowable bit rate on movies rendered with PowerDirector 10. The program seems to have a minimum bit rate of 13000. Can I lower it some how? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I was able to drop the resolution to change the bit rate, so this file is closed! However, I have a new problem with PowerDirector 10, so check out my new post if you think you can help! Thanks!

That's not really much of a solution. I suspected that what you did might work, but I didn't bother to suggest it because, as I said, that's not much of a solution. What if you don't want to use a lower resolution?

We only have one member I can think of who regularly uses Power Director. Maybe he'll find and respond to your posts.

    You can´t.

    Bitrate is about resolution.

SD resolution = automatic lower bitrate
HD resolution = automatic high bitrate.

This way to "trick" this is create a new profile, search this on APPDATA folder and change realtime and save your file.

    On windows Vista/7/8

    "C:\Users\your user here\AppData\Roaming\CyberLink\PowerDirector\10.0\profile.ini"

Edit these parameters as you like:
