can scene order in vobs be edited

can the play order of scenes in a vob be edited in the cell ? ifo bup files

or is it necessary to convert vob to mepg and to a cut and join in the wanted order

i only have one or two movies i would like to re-arrange

so this is more 'want to know' than 'must do'

If the "scenes" you are talking about are actual CHAPTERS then it would be possible.....even with a simple program like DVDShrink. It's not brain surgery but it can be a bit frustrating loading the movie into the re-author window several times then editing the chapter start-stop.

it will require MPEG editing?

i have to go back and look at the movies in question
iirc they are not separate chapters
