Yeah I do, I'll upload them in a sec. Man, Premiere is being a pain. I just left it to preview render the video for a couple hours, it's crashed half way through...twice. Gotta do that in sections, but before I even attempt to colour correct it, I then need to render it out to use in AE (dynamic link is... unpredictable).

Not yet. The mojo went away. It comes and goes.
I should have done that ditty first, while I was fresh. That guy's voice sent my head into like a dead zone, hahaha.Last edited by budwzr; 22nd Apr 2013 at 20:56.

I've got someone to do a very clean cut of the dialogue, so I just need the music now. I've sorted the CC as well.

That's in fact the one shot I wouldn't worry about too much. The blueish tint is monitor glare. Watching the clip it's actually completely in context, and in fact enhances the mood of the shot in my view (you are trying to bring across how this late IT convert has now became active on eBay
).
In any event, it seems you're happy with the colour correcting now so this is a moot point, I guess. I really enjoyed watching your piece, by the way!
Cheers,
Francois -
Thanks, yeah I thought it was monitor glare, but then later on it comes and goes even when the monitor is still on!

I have the melody translated to midi, and I'm going to rework the notes so it's not copyright anymore. Then flesh out the harmony.
Sorry for the delay, but I really did go into a funk. That ditty got stuck in my head, actually I like it, but I can't come up with a better one. It works.
I really do want to contribute something to your project. -
I like what I hear - progress! Are you going to do it with piano in the end or what?
Which has been made on the CC front, it's not perfect but it's much better. -
Kinda
have you intentionally missed off the last few notes? I like the way in the video, it fades out when the last one comes in.
-
Well, I discovered there's some latency in my audio software. I recently upgraded it, and it looks like my computer isn't fast enough. The older version doesn't do midi conversion.
Without Midi, I would have to play out each instrument, but I'm not a musician. The melody is simple enough, but I'll end up in trouble later trying to sync it up, as far as the timing.
I really stepped in it this time, hahaha.
RedAlert! - HELP SCOTT !!!! At least weigh-in on this? You can blast me, it's cool.Last edited by budwzr; 23rd Apr 2013 at 18:18.

See if this is accurate as far as the melody. We're gonna add harmony.
-
Is that a version you've changed the arrangement from the original? It sounds like it's missing a lot of notes! What was wrong with the midi version you did? (apart from the ending)

Hahaha, you're stuck on that, right? I thought it was copyright?
-
Yeah, but would it be possible to use the same melody, just different notes?
I mean I need the same melody cos it matches up with the video.
-
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. Instead of la la la dee da, we go da da da dee la.
-
Alright, I'm aiming for a Wednesday "release" or Friday at the latest. Literally got everything ready to go now, except music :P
-
I'm working on the harmony now.
I guess ".mid" files are not allowed to upload here.
