  1. I was wondering if I could put more than one different SVCD bitrate / sampling rate videos on One CD in SVCD. Is it true that as long as the 2 video files are separate and not merge/join them, then you could have 2 totally different SVCD video files, am i right?

  2. Yes, you can have up to 98 video tracks on a S/VCD.

  3. Nero has a MENU Ability when using VCD or SVCD, what can i do with it? can i make Chapters with it?

  4. You can make a still menu with it... but then again, Nero menus are buggy and don't work on most software DVD players and even some hardware players. I don't recommend it.

And no, you can't use Nero to make chapters on S/VCD (chapters as in entrypoint chapters): http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/chapters.html

  5. ok, so what you said are the problems with it, now what happens if it doesnt work with a DVD player, will it still play the sVCD's and go about normally as if it hadn't of had the menu?

  6. Firstly, don't do a post like "Answer?" one or two hours after your previous post. It's annoying. This is a bulletin board, not IRC.

As for the problem with Nero menus, it depends on the player. On some players, the VCD simply freezes on the menu and no buttons work.

  8. This works for me. I use Nero, select Super Video CD format, enable Menu, then put the two files with different bitrates on the same CD. You will get the message that says "Disable standards compliance", and you answer Yes.

Whether this works or not depends on your DVD player. You need to try it and see if it works on yours. Look on the brown menu to your left and select "DVD players". Look up your make and model of DVD player, and read all of the posts about your machine's capabilities.

  9. Is there a downside to putting more than 1 different bitrate/sampling rate videos on a cd?

  10. You can put up to 98 video tracks on a S/VCD.

Unless you are making CBR SVCD tracks, it will be extremely unlikely that they will all be of the same bitrate. There is no problem putting in tracks with different bitrates.

but people who say other people are annoying are the ones that are annoying
Before you post anything more along these lines, read the forum rules: http://forum.vcdhelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=75116 and don't bump your thread to the top again.
