I want to create a webpage from a windows folder full of videos with thumbnails of each video and a title underneath/ontop (similar to youtube "favorites" section).

I don't want to use any in-windows feature, it needs to be a html webpage because the thumbnails need to be exact (not random frame generated by windows) and I need to archive the folder contents and a html page would be ideal. Are there any programs that will automatically create a web page like this? Like point the program to a folder an it will automatically create the thumbnails and titles from the media in the folder and create a simple web page.

    My current method:

1 - I use Folder2Hyperlinks to create a HTML webpage of selected folder contents with exact hyperlinks to files contained in the selected folder.

2 - Thumbnail Me – generates thumbnails from videos (can choose which ones to use)

3 - I then manually move the pics to the links.

I don't like doing this method since my media folder is constantly deleting and moving/renaming files. An automatic process on every update of the folder would help very much - the specific frame thumbnail requirement can be ignored if the above system works. So if anyone has any ideas if such a program exists that would be great.

One of our members vhelp was writing a program some time back which simulates the youtube output.

Other than that you would need an understanding of mysql and php to create a database and a dynamic webpage.
