  1. Is there a tool/avisynth script for measuring SSIM on colorspaces besides YUV? I wanna look at some 10-bit encodes.

    avisynth is 8bit only

    you need the pro version of msu vqmt to measure 10bit

  3. I need this too but for YV24 stuff which MSU does not support and the avisynth SSIM function seems to be broken on my end. I'm getting a flickery green video with disjointed chroma.

  4. It says that tool is for Linux only. Either way, it appears there was nothing wrong with Avisynth's SSIM function. The greenscreens I was getting on many frames did not affect the SSIM score so it must be some display issue with virtualdub. The scores were different than what MSU was reporting though so it must be a slightly different algorithm.

    Source code available, POSIX compatible and OP doesn't mention any OS.
