Can't play FLV from Digital Tutors, need help.

Hello guys,

yesterday the guys from Digital Tutors changed their flv player and I think they've changed the audio/video codec from it too because I can't play the FLV from it when I download it anymore.

The thing is that until april 4th I could open any FLV file from it without any problem. The msg I get from MPC when I try to open it is this:

I suspect these will only play through DigitalTutors OWN media player (it's given the key when you sign in to your subscribed account).

Try signing in using the StreamTransport browser...it can grab the free vids...as I'm not a subscriber I don't know if it will grab anything once you're logged in.

A word of warning: I wouldn't post these anywhere. The chances are they contain your login key embedded into them.

that makes sense since they can change the entire database of the videos...I stopped to think better and u're right, even though I get a try on ur programm, still didnt have time for that until now

screen capture gives me a lot of pain, need to play, watch the entire video and so on =/

The Stream Transport couldn't even find the streaming..sadly, But i Still have hope that this has a solution

None of them are helpfull, I was using RTMPEx until they did this change in the begin of the month - I tryed another program Replay Media Catcher but it seems that even the payed version is not working..It doesnt fit in my mind how that's possible

I thought as much. its the AES ecryption. Screen capture does seem to be the solution.

I saw this thread long time ago as some first options to capture the videos from digital tutors, Tryed once without sucess, the best option I had and that really worked out was the RTMPExplorer - by now I have replay media catcher pro and yes, it does a better job but isnt working anymore in digital tutors - If this was a sort of Key, when we login with the stream program interface, we should be able to get the keys to decrypt the player too - It doenst make sense at all, It´s not on the player, it´s not on the codec so what the **** is blocking the private videos since the free ones are okay!?

The player is sent the stream with the key, you can't piggy-back off it.The key cycles, so you can't just grab it. I imagine the player has a handshake with the server to acknowledge receipt of the packets and to accept the next packet/key combination. Not sure. Don't think it's been cracked up to now.See, you can intercept the packets, but unless you have a player which can use the key, and knows where to look for it, then it can't decrypt the information. The key doesn't have to be in the file it can remain on the server until requested, or injected into the player along with the packet. Just my own opinion. It's how I would do it.

And it relly makes sense now - So, I guess we dont have anywhere else to run..End of the line to pick those kind of videos for an unknow period, someone might break this but the problem is when =/
