  1. Hi,

This is the first time I've tried to burn a DVD. I have an mpeg that is about 3Gb. I generated it with tmpgenc (started out as a 700Mb avi file). When I try to burn it with VCDEasy, I get the message:
image too big (1324893 sectors > 449850 sectors)

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks for any help!

  2. 1. VCD Easy/VCDImager doesn't make DVDs
    2. If you are making a S/VCD, you can only fit approx. 795 MB onto one 80 min disc

  3. Thanks, I didn't know that.

Is there something that does make DVDs?

If I use VcdEasy and burn it onto CDs, do I have to split it up some time before (like during conversion), or will VcdEasy be able to split it up without me doing anything?

  4. I suggest you search the forums (and internet in general) for DVD authoring programs.

As for VCD Easy/VCDImager, if you want to make a S/VCD, you will have to have your MPEGs the appropriate size first (i.e., cut the MPEGs with another program if necessary).

    Regards.
