That is VirtualDub's built in deinterlace filter. It changed a few years ago. VirtualDubMod is based on a very old version of VirtualDub. So you can't add that filter to VirtualDubMod. You have to use VirtualDub instead. Unless you want to get the source code for both programs and integrate them. It will probably be a major job because VirtualDubMod doesn't support double frame rate changes in filters.

There is no alternative for VirtualDubMod. It doesn't allow filters to change the frame rate -- so the double frame rate modes aren't possible there. Just use VirtualDub. Or use AviSynth. There are even better deinterlacers there. QTGMC, for example.

But I got used to edit AVISynth scripts Directly without having to open the video again and again .. This option exists only in VirtualDubMod..
Do you know a way to reload videos in VirtualDub?
Maybe like a HotKey or something?
if i can do that then it will be ok -

Try VirtualDubModplus 1.7.8, which has the Avisynth editor. (Linked on the VirtualDubMod page.)
It has a deinterlace filter, but I don't know if the features you want.
Anyway, a lot less ancient than VDubMod.
If you can just use Avisynth filters, use AvsP.
It can play videos itself, but no sound. And you can set up F6 to play the script in a media player (even VirtualDub). There's also a "Preview from current point" macro.Last edited by AlanHK; 1st Apr 2013 at 07:19.

i dont like AvsP..
it Is not comfortable
Maybe I will try to create my own GUI ..
Because I have not found anything better than AvsP.
Until then, I will have to use AvsP

thanks but on this version i get this massage:
i don't know what that mean..
i need to ignore this?
what i download from the official site is version 2.0.2 and it's look the same thing and it does not give me that massage..
and is it possible to change the gui style to look like this:
http://i1-win.softpedia-static.com/screenshots/AVISynth-GUI_1.png
?
i mean that the text area will be on the right side, the video on the left...
i don't like the current mode..
if not then even just make the edit text area/video preview to be in a different window.
I'd be happy if i can do something about it...
thanks you for the help -
In this case, the "Mod" version is pretty official and has many updates, now at 2.4.2. The original programmer stopped development a couple of years ago with that 2.02.
I think it doesn't like the names of the dlls. Try renaming them, remove the hyphens.
But that's just a guess.
There is an option for "Separate video preview window", in Options/Program settings/Video
Join the Doom9 forum and ask questions about AvsPmod there.
The current maintainers of the program respond to suggestions and questions.Last edited by AlanHK; 1st Apr 2013 at 11:10.
