  2. you can try avidemux

    video=>copy
    audio=>copy
    format=>mp4

    mark in/out only on keyframes (not frame accurate cuts)

    For frame accuracy you need something like videoredo or solveigMM video splitter (not free)

  4. control => frame accuracy (smart mode)

    Note, this means that the quality much change for a few frames around the cutsite, because those frames must be re-encoded

    If you want absolutely no quality change, you cannot cut with frame accuracy; it's just the way long GOP compression works. You can only cut on GOP boundaries, because some frames are not entirely "complete" by themselves. They rely on other frames within the GOP

  5. Well if the frames change around the cutsite that is ok with me .
    Az long az the re encoding doesn't change quality of over all video or make the file size huge or take too much time to get final output !
    if all of the 3 above conditions comes true when using frame accuracy then i will consider using it.
    It would be nice if you tell me if these 3 conditions will be considered when using frame accuracy.

    cutting on key frames , joining using tne copy function is like cutting and splicing a film reel
    no changes in the encoding

    your cutting out commercials, chances are you can hit 'key frames' in the black out scene switch
    or be close enough tht you are not going to notice anything in the playback of the edited frame going into the blackout

    anyway commercials are usually placed at scence changes
    hardly ever in the middle of somebodies speaking part or action scence
    unless its a commercial break in the middle of sporting event
