    Hello All,

I have thousands of videos that were encoded in mp4 format in an older content management system that was being used by a company we just took over. After rebuilding the engine for the site, we are unable to determine what is missing to get the videos to playback using jw or flowplayer. I've went through numerous days and countless hours trying to figure this out as I don't want to have to end up re-encoding the movies and finally found this forum through a friend of mine. Here are the mediainfo specs for one of the video files in question. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. I'm at a complete halt at this.

The video must be in mpeg4 part 10 or so called h264/avc. See http://helpx.adobe.com/flash/kb/supported-codecs-flash-player.html

    Mpeg4 visual is divx/xvid/mpeg4 part 2. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG-4_Part_2

Thank you for the insight Baldrick. It looks like I am going to have to convert everything to the newer standards.

Is there a script that's around which I can use on the server to batch encode these and get them out of the way?

Can anyone help with a viable solution for this. I am willing to pay for something custom built.
