I know the objective for most people is to get the best quality VCD which usually means using 2CDs. Well I have fairly nice computer setup at home and I am comfortable watching a film on my computer instead of my DVD player. I just don't have HD space for all the films. So I wondering how I can I compress an already made Divx (AVI) down to 1 CD file size. For Example: I have a 736MB file thats has great quality but its to big for one CD. I would like compress it to 700MB; Do I have to re-CODEC it or is there a program that will compress for me. If I must Virtualdub it does anyone have any recommended settings for me so I can keep most of my film quality.
