    Guys i want to put in a mkv file, ass subtitle file (made with aegisub of course) but when i do that with mkvmerge GUI the script that contains the ass file does not work.

    Is there any way to do it as softsub?

    Thanks in advanced

    What does the script in question do? Can you add the .ass subtitles to the .mkv video manually?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    script such as fade in/out the subtitle, change color, position, gradually changing size etc
    If i'll merge it in the movie works as a simple srt file.

  9. Have you tried to use xy-vsfilter instead of the internal subtitle handler of MPC-HC?

    if you use the internal filter make sure that:
    a. View-> Options-> Playback-> "Auto-load subtitles" is ticked
    b. View-> Options-> Subtitles->"Allow animation when buffering" is ticked
    otherwise fade&co will not be shown.
