    this tv was dead. changed the optocoupler and a resistir and it is now working, however i connected it to my tv and it wont display any pictures. i have grat audio, but no video. Any help appreciated.

    More information is needed. It sounds like you repaired the switching mode power supply. I would start tracing back from the video connector to see where the defect is. Might be a broken trace or connector.
