Short MPEG2 sample. Also I've used McTemporalDenoise on Medium and QGTMC on Super Fast but I can still see lots of noise. How can I remove that noise?

Looks as if someone already processed this super-low-bitrate original with a temporal filter set too high. Otherwise, there's not much "noise" in the usual sense, except that low bitrates have destroyed detail, screwed up edges, created mosquito noise all over the place, and cause much distortion -- especially every time something moves. The MPG bitrate is around 4000 (far too low for action video), but there appears to have been an earlier step whose bitrate was even worse. Might have been XVid or something ? ?
Not much you can do with the ghosting. The major work would be cleaning up edges and contours. The black levels are OK, but somebody really likes red and hates highlights -- thankfully, at least they didn't blow away most of the brights.Last edited by sanlyn; 26th Mar 2014 at 05:23.
