Ok I just dubbed two videos using my hdpvr and they looked great but both were only stereo. They are really 5.1 and the audio input on the capture module read 5.1.

I was recording in mp4 file format so I could have the most transportable file. Unfortunately I didn't realize it WOULDN'T CAPTURE IN 5.1!! DOH! So now I have to recapture both videos. ARRGHHH!!!!!

And now I'll have to remux the m2ts files I'll be getting into mp4 to get the same result that I wanted the first time.

Oh well at least I am finally 100% back on track now and know where I'm going with this.

Ok if you have a gripe or problem you just want to vent and let off steam go right ahead.

Edit - oh and this is different then the internet pet peeves thread because this can be about anything.
