ok this is what i did, i downloaded the mummy returns in 2 seperate parts that were both about 500 megs big, and in *.mpg format. I used my nero burning rom registered version and chose to make a vcd. I did what i was told to do and seemed logically correct which is I dragged part 1 of the movie from the right, a hard drive folder, to the left which was the new vcd's playlist, nero read for compatibilty as normal. Then I chose write vcd, and I wrote it onto a cd-r blank disc. That finished correctly and then when i popped it in my dvd player, its an RCA R5215 it said disc could not be read or "disc is incompatible." What is wrong??? Please help me anyone!!! Thanks!

You need to check if your DVD player can play CDR's and/or CDRW's. Just because a DVD player supports VCD doesn't mean it will play recordable CD's. Click on the "DVD players" tab to the left to see if your CD player is supported.
