I am trying to copy a small clip from a show and save it as its own avi with Virtual Dub. I followed the guide from the FAQ, but I have run into a glitch I can't seem to get past (it worked right once, but only once out of 10-15 tries.)
I mark my start and end of clip. If I select "move to selection start" it goes to the proper frame selected. When I select "save as avi" and then open the new file I get my clip but there is extra tacked on the start. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Zim

Are you doing all of your cuts at keyframes?
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
Come again?
I am not sure what the keyframe function is. I just followed the steps from the guide for cutting a clip. Could you explain about the keyframes...do I need to use another step? I'm just trying to grab the production animation from a show.
Thanks,
Zim
