    Hi there
I'm desperate looking for a solution for my issue above mentioned.
    I have several MKV/MP4 files with different resolutions (1920 x 800, 1920 x 1080, 1920 x 750..) that I cannot play in my LG 50PK350 but I can see them without problems in my LG 37LE4500.
my LG 50PK350 has, however, no problems to show 1280 x 720 (or below) resolutions. firmware version is 3.28
I have no problems to see TV's Full HD contents

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

    Thanks a lot

Does the manual mention that it supports 1920x1080 video sources?

    Yes, it's mentioned there
in fact I've even seen some videos in Youtube showing (demoing) these features in the same TV like mine with 720p and 1080p movies read from USB devices (either hard drive or USB pendrives).

Open one of those files in mediainfo and post results. The resolution may be OK but there may be a problem with the profile or something like that.
