movie rip help

a feww weeks ago i ripped the one
useing the every vob option on smartripper
and noticed it would split sceens in half so when the movie was joined
you would get an annoying bleep
then i ripped a second movie scary movie 2
useing the max filesize option
so i got just one file instead on 3
then i put it into tmpg
and started converting
after about 13 min i noticed
that the amont of frames being converted was way lower then it should have been
i did the math and found out
the piece being converted was only 55 min long
i had every single chapter selected
and the total size was less then the max limit
can you tell me why this happened
