Best quality decoder for mkv?

Hey
Now i'm using the internal MPC-HC video decoder for mkv, plus ffdshow audio to decode the dts/dd/dts-hd/truehd to my vsx-522
i will get better video quality with ffdshow video decoder/other decoder?

video quality of ffdshow and mpchc internal are the same (Both based on libav)

There might be other differences - e.g. in post processing, other filters, renderer used (e.g. MadVR and chroma upsampling quality)

Technically all decoders output the same thing (not completely true, as some like quicktime add post processing , or clamp levels and add noise)
