I have an mkv file that has multiple subtitles and 2 audio tracks. I want to use a software to exclude the subtitles and audio tracks that I don't want so my video end up with just 1 video, 1 audio track, and 1 subtitle. I tried this in avidemux, but avidemux doesn't save the subtitle files. what do I do? I know virtualdubmod used to be able to do this, but it's too old to read the new formats now.

load the mkv into mkvmergegui, deselect the tracks you don't want, re-mux into a new video.
