Two things:
1) Is your external hard drive powered? An external that draws its power from the USB port may not be recognized.
2) Have you tried remuxing to ts rather than m2ts? My LG TV and LG BD standalone will not recognize m2ts, but will play the same H264 content as ts (transport stream), or MKV, MP4, etc. Both will do so from a powered, NTFS formatted, 2 TB drive. It seems a strange omission that they will not recognize m2ts files, but there you are. It may work for you with your HT.
You can load your m2ts file into tsMuxer and output as ts and give it a try.Pull! Bang! Darn!

The salesperson you spoke to is correct. According to the manual, your LG Blu-Ray home theater system doesn't play .m2ts files from a USB hard drive. It can play .ts, .mkv, or .mp4 files from a USB hard drive.
You will have to re-package the video and audio from the Blu-ray files into one of the other containers. TSMuxer, MakeMKV and RipBot264 are the tools I have usually seen suggested for that purpose, but I can't give you instructions for using them.

oh thank you very much.
yes, it's powered, and already recognized...i will try then aswer you, but also i want to know, would it make the quality worster than m2ts, becuase my player read mkv file-s and they are good quality, but i want to watch full (not compared) format...i don't ever watched m2ts file..is there huge difference beetween them???
and sorry for my english.

And i more little thing...the player can see the file, but can't play(can't open the resolution)...How i have anderstood, player can't see all certificates and other files to generate the m2ts file...
are there a huge difference beetween of qualitys of <ts and m2ts and mkv> files???

Audio and video are not changed if all you do is move them from .m2ts to a different container file. However, you won't have all the features from the original disc available in the .mkv.
Buy the movie on Blu-Ray if you want to use your LG home theater to watch the movie exactly as it is on the disc with all the menus and other features available to you. Your LG home theater is made for playing the original Blu-Ray disc. It is not made for playing a downloaded copy of somebody else's Blu-Ray disc.
