  1. Those that helped me last month thanks it was all understandable info an worked, and I understand the frustration, from some of you when the same info you share is in the manual. Regardless this site has those who will post answers an brake it down making it more understandable.

Question: My Aquaview underwater video camera has a RCA video output, which I can feed into a small dvr

What I want to buy is a mini dvr designed to record the video from my aqua view camera to a sd card. that is also powered by batt.
AquaView sell a unit for about 200$, IM hoping there is a much more affordable way to go.

http://www.aquavu.com/Accessories/Aqua-Vu-Mini-DVR is the link of what they offer

    any suggestions thanks

That's pretty DANG good as an option already. I notice they're selling reconditioned ones at $129USD, if you are willing to take that risk.

Probably a bit higher in price, but with more models: http://www.supercircuits.com/digital-video-recorders/micro-dvrs?dir=asc&order=price

There are also similar micro DVRs aviailable much cheaper from the Chinese and Hong Kong import market, but you take your chances with quality and shipping. Just try a internet search for ' micro DVR '.

You understand my unit I send a camera down on a hard wire, anywhere down to 100ft. it sends a picture topside, now I want to save that video to an sd card.
