I recorded an event with Panasonic advanced high definition files. The file format in sd card is *.mts and divided into two segment. Could anyone tell me why it is? I think I know it but I forgot.
Sigh

Might be because of some size limitations of the format the sd card is formated, might be due to some limitation in the writing software.
-> what size do the segments have and what format does the sd card have? (FAT/FAT32/NTFS/...) -
It's a spanned clip. To add to Selur's statement, if you drop the folder into most decent NLE's it will read it as one file.
