    I dowloaded cats & dogs I think it is a divx format and when I open it plays with my file player and divx player. I am trying to convert it to vcd with tmpgec and virtual dub the audio comes on but the picture doesnt in preview mode in both software. i tried a small sample and again no picture .Any ides is to how to convert it ? The file cant be corrupted cos it is playing with file player ati and windows media player. I am in the uk, the file is showing in virtual dub ,23.936fps which is an NTSC film format
    any help appreiciated :(

    its soerted I installed the older divx codec 3.2 and done the trick
