Sony VMS 11 Platinum
I'm adding subtitles to a video. There are four people talking, so I need to generate different-looking (colour, position) subtitles for each, which I'm placing on four individual tracks.
The 'easiest' way I have found to do this is to copy a previously-generated subtitle for each person, and paste it where their next subtitle is required. In order to see accurately where to place it (and to loop-review each segment of audio), I need to expand the timeline. This means that to find the previous subtitle for each person I have to traverse back until I find it, copy it, and then find my position on the timeline again before pasting and editing it. Then do the same for the next person.
This is tedious, and significantly adds to the time that subtitling takes!
If SVMS had an extended clipboard, so it was possible to paste from a choice of previous copy selections, that'd be hugely better. But it doesn't (AFAIK). Does anyone have any suggestions how to simplify this task?
Thanks
