  1. Which one is the best free DVD burner?

    I assume you mean "burning software". A "burner" is the physical drive that does the burning. The best burning software is ImgBurn. It's free and no pay product is better.

  5. ImgBurn doesn't show how much space is available on the DVD once I start dropping files into the dialog box. It just shows the files. Is there a software which shows available space?

    My favorite is BurnAware Free. I've been using it for a couple of years with out ever having a problem & I find it much easier to use than Imgburn.

  12. Another option is BurnOn CD/DVD it shows you how much data you've added and how much is available. That's also free.
