    Trying to make my new HTPC region free... Does anyone have the unlock code/hac for LG BH14NS40 (same as WH14NS40)... Thanks.

    Use a software region remover like anydvd or dvdfab passkey.

    It's too much trouble to find region free burner firmware for BD drives. Very few exist. It's not free, but it significantly simpler to just fix this via software by paying for AnyDVD (I use this) or DVDFab Passkey as Baldrick suggests. Using those programs enables you to change the drive in the future to a new model and still be able to play what you want.

    Thank you very much for your suggestions as it solved my issue… I am in Region 1 and have few gift DVDs from region 2 that I wanted to watch (not rip)… Passkey Lite works just fine. I may consider upgrading if my needs change but the free version fit the bill for now. Thanks again.
