[Questions] About a video format

Hello guys! Im a newbie here, and i opened this topic to ask you something!
Last night i recorded something with my reciever and after the recording was completed i found out that video was in .trp format that i don't know what kind of format it is.
My question will be, how can i open and how can i convert that format of video?

P.S. Please forgive me, if this topic it's not in right place, but im an amateur in this things!

And most all-in-one converters should support it. You can try rename to .ts if they can't open it directly.

Post the details from the file. Open with mediainfo, view->text.

And can you play it??? With for example VLC.

If not must you give more information about your receiver.
