  1. Good day all
I have a few old project files from Ulead Video Studio (a way old version), and am now trying to import those into Vegas Pro 10.

Does anyone know if this is possible? And if so, how?
Google has only turned up a mass of comparisons between the programs.

    Thank you, in advance

NLEs that "share" usually do so by importing/exporting their EDLs (timeline lowest common denominator). This used to be in the very basic form of a specifically formatted text file (Grass Valley spec, most common) of edit cut listings (hence the name, "edit decision list"). Newer, more advanced forms use something like OMF, AAF or MXF. QT Reference files could be considered a form of this also (they retain their track & timeline layout & original clip formats).

So, if UVS were to share, it would be in one of those ways. Vegas has, depending upon its version, had the capability to share EDLs, so it mainly would depend on UVS's capabilities (which I'm guessing are small).

Maybe the latest version of the software can do it?

Vegas just released an update today, and all of a sudden they support FCP exchange, hahaha, I guess they're hoping to pick up some defectors.
