I currently have an iPod Touch and have been watching videos that were converted so that it can play it. I have two video converter programs and noticed that one produced a quality that is better than the other. Now I want to be able to convert a video to an iPod Touch-compatible format with the highest quality that the device can support. What program(s) should I use? I've googled and this is what my iPod Touch supports:

    TV and Video

Support for 480p and 576p component TV out
H.264 video, up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Low-Complexity version of the H.264 Baseline Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; H.264 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Baseline Profile up to Level 3.0 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats

I think SUPER converter would do nicely, but I've tried adjusting all the settings to match the above and it wouldn't even convert the file (SUPER converter has always been buggy for me, or maybe I don't have the right settings. It's also ridden with malware so I really would like to avoid using it, but it has a feature that lets me convert without transcoding, so maybe I can preserve more quality there)?

    Thanks so much.
