  1. Hello guys,

So I have a little problem I use tsMuxer to convert a .mkv with .srt subs to a blu-ray folder (and than in a .iso file) to read all with my media player (a popcorn hour C-200) but when I play the movie I can't see the subs (video and audio ok). I tried also on my laptop with MPC but I have the same problem.

How can I fix this problem?

    Thank you!

DOesn't the popcorn hour support external srts(nameed like video.mkv and video.srt? Or maybe inside a mkv (use mkvmergegui)?

It seems complex to make a blu-ray iso.

  3. I'm asking this because I'm use to convert a BD folders in .iso an watch them with the Popcorn. This time I have a .mkv file and I'd like to convert it with the BD structure. With the tsMuxer I can do it but I can't read the subs when I play the movie and I'd like to know if there is a way or another software.

    Thank you!

ARE you sure your popcorn supports blu-ray with subs?

  5. Yes it can.

My questions were easier, why converting with tsMuxer from mkv to a BD folder I can't see subs? Is it possible to fix this problem?

  6. I would think you will need to convert subs to blu-ray compliance.
But I don't know anything about popcorn or what it will or will not do.

  7. Problem is not only with the Popcorn, I have the same problem playing the movie also with MPC or other players. I have the subtitles but if I select one of them I don't see nothing and I don't understand why.....

  8. Download the sub from one of the subtitle websites.
Is you movies standard or high def?
    Blu-ray files use sup subtitles.

You might could convert your mkvs to m2ts and place srts in a folder with the m2ts...it may work.

Are you sure tsMuxer is loading the subtitles from the MKV file? Often times it does not. The trick is to demux the subs from the MKV and then manually add them in once you load the MKV in tsMuxer. This assumes tsMuxer didn't already load the subs.

If tsMuxer is loading in the subs but they aren't working then it could be because the video itself is not BD compliant. Remember that BD compliant means no cropping. So if you have a 1080p video that is widescreen it needs to be 1920x1080 but often MKV's are cropped so you have something like 1920x816 and that MIGHT be causing the problem.

  10. Solution found, I added the movie in tsMuxer and deleted all the subs and superfluous audio tracks, then I added .srt subs and in this way my Popcorn read it!!!

    Thanks to all!
