  1. Hi.

    After finally getting the hardware and VirtualDub set correctly to allow capturing it now comes time to turn to what codec and settings to use.

    I have a very fast 4 core machine.

    I have HuffyUV and Lagarith. Any suggestions for other realtime codecs?

    Also, what colorspace would everyone suggest.

    This job is for video archiving, not for everyday playback.

    I use UT VIDEO (jagabo suggestion).

    Various capture/tv tuner cards are YUY2. UT Video ULY2.
